Another brief comment

"Your friends will like you more if you had an x-box" - Harvey Norman Ad

I laughed very hard when I heard this. Harvey Norman are so desperate to sell off their XBox stock that their advertising now includes a major dis to everyone who sees it.

Depressing.

Just briefly

I must admit, I find it slightly concerning that TV3 News uses the phrase "going troppo" in a news segment. Especially when it's describing tax evasion. It seems to me that using colloquialism in a desperate attempt to attract the youthful audience that 3 news supposedly appeals to is possibly going a step too far. Or maybe I'm just old at heart xD

Feijoa Freedom

So... come here often?

Due to various camera related issues (i.e. lack of batteries and a camera being crushed in an orthodontist chair) we've kinda been fail bloggers. Not to be confused with failblog. Anywho.

Never mind, we're back now.

After an intense Amnesty International meeting, we had a rather enjoyable photoshoot in the garden courtesy of Miss M. Feijoa, our nome de plume-ed camera lender/photographer.

This morning, I (being Harriet) arrived early at Isobel's house, and decided to style her an outfit. . .
I (Isobel) refused to wear it.
Lets just say I looked like the child of a jester and an elephant.

What I actually wore: Top: Barack Obama t-shirt from Hawaii airport (my Dad went there not me) Vest: Homemade! Skirt: Lee Tights: my Mum gave them to me Boots: Cravo and Canela

This photo took quite a lot of effort as Harriet and I have very different jumping styles.
Apparently Isobel is better at falling then I am. Who knew?
Oh, and might I add, she still wore my top and vest co-ordination. I thought it was quite inspired actually.

Anywho my outfit. Top: Sussy, Skirt: Handmade by Isobel! It's actually hers. . Belt: Again, Isobel's. Tights: Glassons, Shoes: Special "The Who" Edition Chuck Taylor Hightops.

It was fun okay xD

Now for some plugging :D
Our aforementioned Amnesty International meeting was thoroughly interesting, if not low key xD There were 6 attendees, but thats besides the point! We discussed ideas to raise awareness and money for Amnesty during Freedom Week, 3 -8 August. There was some pretty cool stuff really, and some community events may be appearing soon. So if you see Amnesty International people around, give them some money! We can't campaign for those who can't without resources.
